Pre-Op Classes
Alta Dog Rehabilitation Clinic is launching our Pre-Op Classes service in Summer 2026. These classes will teach you how to prepare yourself, your dog, and your home for either orthopedic or neurological recovery. By understanding this information before surgery, we hope recovery is easier for you and your dog.
During the class, you will learn post-op precautions/activity restrictions, how to prepare your home, equipment you may need, how to perform passive range of motion exercises, pain management, bowel and bladder care, and ideas to keep your dog engaged while restricted.
Classes are held at Alta Dog Rehab from 6:30-7:30 pm. Fill out the form below to register.
Class cost is $50 for up to 2 people. This class is for humans only. If you attend this class and are interested in formal rehabilitation during your dog’s recovery, $25 will be deducted from the evaluation cost.
