Beau

As a young, 4 month old puppy, Beau was surrendered to the Companion Golden Retriever Rescue (CGRR) due to high medical care costs. He was limping on his hind leg and after the care of amazing vets, he was diagnosed with a fractured hip. The first Holiday Dog Wash fundraiser was held to raise money so that Beau could undergo the surgery he needed! He had a femoral head osteotomy (FHO) in December 2016 and rehabilitated at Alta Dog!

Due to Beau’s unique situation and care needs, he found a loving foster environment at Alta Dog and ultimately found his forever home with Tena’s friend, Wendy and her family. Wendy, and husband Bob, continue to bring Beau to Alta Dog to maintain his therapy and most importantly to support fellow rehab friends in their journey back to a full active lifestyle.
